Becker Autos Camper Show & Open House

Becker Autos & Trailers will be hosting a Camper Show and Open House this weekend, April 1st & 2nd 9A-7P and April 3rd 1P-5P.

Becker Autos & Trailers would like to extend a special invitation to Beloit Chamber and Solomon Valley Economic Development members for a grand opening of our new additions at 9:30A on Friday, April 1st.

Many changes have been made over the last 7.5 years in Beloit, and we would like to welcome all of you out to check out all of the new improvements.  Over the years changes have been made to better assist customers: the addition of more offices and more open waiting area, mechanic shop with extra lifts, and a new building for trailer repair.  These changes have been made to maintain the inventory which now specializes in not only quality like new vehicles, but new and used trailers and campers.

We couldn’t have made these improvements without the assistance of our local businesses!  Please, come check out what we have to offer.  Thank you for your past and continued support.

Drive 4 UR School at Beloit Auto & Truck Plaza

On Sat. April 2nd from 9am to 1pm, Drive 4 UR School fundraiser will be taking place at Beloit Auto & Truck Plaza.  No sales pressure.  For every test drive, (one per household address) $20.00 will be donated to the local schools.  The goal is 300 test drives for a total of $6000.  With the local schools dealing with budget cuts at the state level, it couldn’t be more important to donate 10 minutes of your time to raise $20.00.  Beloit Auto & Truck Plaza will allow participants to come in anytime during the week to take a test drive if you are unable to make it on Saturday April 2nd.  Get the word out!

COMPUTER/SMART PHONE WORKSHOP IN BELOIT

Not sure how to get started with a computer on the internet or email?  Do you have an iPAD but don’t use it for much beyond Solitaire?  Do you wish you could use more features on your Smart Phone other than to just answer the phone?  All these questions, and more, can be answered on Monday and Wednesday, March 28 and 30, at the Beloit Senior Center, from 9:30 until 11:00.  The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of age, and is FREE!!!  The Mitchell County Council on Aging, as well as the Beloit Senior Center is sponsoring the event, and will feature Miss Maeve Spangler, Miss Lexi Roberg, and Miss Tayler Watts of Beloit High School as the presenters.  Maeve, Lexi, and Tayler will take your questions each day, and will work with you on either your own electronic equipment, or on the computers available at the Senior Center.  No advance enrollment is required.  The participants will determine the content, as their questions will lead the discussion.  Whether novice or more advanced, Maeve, Lexi, and Tayler will help you become better suited to getting the most out of your device.

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops, iPads, and Smart Phones to the Senior Center either, or both, days of the workshop.  Potential topics include Skype, storing data on the iCLOUD, getting and using new APPS, taking pictures with your devices, sending and receiving pictures from and to your phone, and any other questions the participants desire to have answered.  For further information, call the Beloit Senior Center at 738-5802. or Jay Rowh at 738-2310,  Take advantage of this opportunity to get expert, hands-on information that will help you get more out of your electronic equipment.
